AU where 'friend' and 'boyfriend'/'girlfriend' are the same word. imagine how confusing that would be! you would tell somebody about your ‘friend’ but they literally wouldn’t know what your relationship is because……..

oh wait sorry this isn’t an AU. German, I was talking about German. Imagine German.

Top 10 TSW NPCs
So gunpowderandspark challenged us to come up with top 10 NPC lists. Here’s mine.
1. The cats of the Franklin House - Look at these helpful babies. When I traveled back in time, they are the only way I was able to find the people I was supposed to rescue. I wish I could give them more spots, but there are so many good NPCs that I have to stick them all together.
2. Tango and Cash - I’m pretty declimatized towards the deaths of NPCs, so the end of the Freeborn missions weren’t as traumatizing as they would have been if I weren’t used to having to kill the rabid evil versions of people I like. But when I had to kill these children? No. I cried. I am a dog person. I can’t hurt dogs. It’s against my instincts.
3. Wolf’s wolf - Look at those baby blue eyes and tell me you aren’t in love. OK, now tell me again, but don’t lie to yourselves this time. I want a dog like this. I want all of these dogs. Dogs.
4. Tanis’ snake - I love lil baby snakes. So much. Can I just. Please. Pet the snake? C’mon. Just a little bit. Oh god it’s doing a tongue flick I’m going to die if I can’t pet this snake. Its head is so shiny. Can I at least get a close up shot of the bab?
5. The Guardians - I know that they would kill me if I let them (they have killed me. Several times), but I mean. I can’t help it. Their manes look so soft. I wanna ride one into battle. I wanna ride one into battle and then pet one. I just. Love dogs. So much.
6. This camel I found in Al Merayah - There are just locusts running around eating people everywhere. No humans in sight that aren’t evil or corpses. But does this camel give a shit? Nope. I aim to be as unflappable as this camel one day. Also badass enough that none of the monsters bother me. Tell me your secrets, camel.
7. Wolf’s baby dog - Everyone loves Wolf’s wolf, but the real star of the show is this lil babe. I’m constantly worried about this child, because they don’t have a breath animation. But I figure if the dog were dead there would be more blood, so the dog isn’t dead. Just sleepy. Sleepy and adorable.
8. Carmen Preda’s horse - I used to ride horses. Maybe if I were a badass Transylvanian lady who works for the Council of Venice I’d still ride horses. Either way, horses are fantastic. The world needs more horses. And this horse is pretty, so that’s a start.
9. This random dog I found in Harbarburesti - I just think this dog is cute. Wow. What a cute dog.
10. Traian - Shhhh wolfman. I know you’re angry. I’ll scritch your ears anyway.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Madam Roget’s raven
The ghost kitties outside of Templar HQ
The real kitties inside of Templar HQ
The donkeys in Al Merayah
Some chickens I found
This pigeon that is perched on a statue in the Scorched Desert
Literally any animal in this game. Let’s be honest. I just love animals.
Oh who am I kidding? The order I put these animals in is random. I can’t pick favorites. They’re all beautiful and I need a /pet emote yesterday.

"I’ve never gone this far. I mean, with my powers. I think I like it."

When karma-kamikaze and I played through this mission for the first time, I distinctly remember him pointing out this line. It’s not a huge thing for her to be saying, not something that really has a whole lot of attention brought to it, but it definitely struck the two of us as the potential beginning of something really, really bad.
I’m not sure if we’ll ever be seeing more of Innsmouth to confirm or deny this suspicion, but damn if I don’t kind of like the idea of a villainous Carter.
